Centering roller groups automatically correct belt deviation. Each centering group has a pivoting frame and edge guide rollers. When the belt drifts off center, it touches the guide rollers, causing the frame to pivot. This action creates a lateral steering force that pushes the belt back to the correct path. Centering groups are usually installed every 10 to 15 groups on the carrying side and every 6 to 10 groups on the return side.

All frames are made from high-strength structural steel. Bearings are sealed with multi-stage labyrinth seals to keep out dust and moisture.
